AFC International's Universal Bump Test Station for Gas Detectors

The AFC International Bump Test Station is an easy to use device for the verification of sensor response of your multi gas or personal gas detectors. This simple bump test can be performed in less than 60 seconds and will give you the piece of mind that your instrument is responding to gas properly, prior to entering a confined space or dangerous gas area in a plant.

The wall mounted Bump Test Station can be modified to work with any make or model instrument on the market. A simple push of the start button activates the flow of test gas. A green light turns on, indicating the system is working. The flow meter on the front of the unit verifies that gas is flowing. In about 30 seconds all alarms on the instrument should be activated. If they are not, the instrument should not be used and then sent in for service. The station automatically shuts off after the selected time period and the green light goes out. AFC International uses quality gas standards that are certified accurate. The Bump Test Station can use any concentration of gas and cylinder sizes. We recommend that you use a gas concentration high enough to insure that all gas sensor alarms will be activated within a 30 to 60 second time period.

The Bump Test Station is a perfect compliment to any company’s calibration or maintenance schedule and can be customized to fit your gas detection program.The AFC International Bump Test Station is not intended to and/or should not be used to replace periodic instrument manufacturer’s recommended gas calibration interval! It is simply a test that can fill in the gaps between calibrations.

The ISEA passed a new statement in November 2009. This was after 2 1/2 years of debate. The definition of a bump test has now been expanded into two methods. There is now a qualitative (bump) and a quantitative (calibration check) for all gas monitors. The new statement is available here.

How to Use

  • Strip outer layer of shrink wrap at the perforation to reveal the tube for the cylinder of gas
  • Remove the black cap and place on the bottom of the tube. Either remove your cylinder of gas or use it while in the tube
  • Attach regulator to cylinder and use cylinder until empty
  • When gauge reads zero, remove regulator and pull cylinder out of tube
  • Next, simply strip perforated section on the cylinder’s shrink wrap to reveal pre-paid return label
  • Place empty cylinder back into the tube and place the black cap back on. The shipper will scan the bar code on the pre-paid shipping label.
  • No paperwork to fill out!

Breathing Air Sample Kits for Grade D Air Testing

In 2008, NFPA 1989 mandated an outside air analysis at least quarterly. With associated rules governing routine service, you may actually be required to test six times each year or more. You collect the air sample into the sterile container that we provide for you. (non-hazardous) The air is tested at a laboratory certified by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation as required by NFPA. You will receive a certificate stating that you air meets the standards you requested. When activated, Stannic Chloride is a white colorless gas with a pungent odor. It fumes strongly in moist air forming white hydrochloric acid fume. Multi-Regulator Air Filtration Panels from Allegro Safety

Allegro air filtration panels filter impurities and hydrocarbons from an air compressor to convert to breathable air. A CO monitor is integrated to meet OSHA requirements for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide levels. Each regulator can be individually adjusted at different pressure settings for different types of respirators and can also be used for supplying separate outlets for air tools. Allegroair Airline Cooling System
A low cost and portable means of cooling breathing air while keeping workers comfortable and productive for hours. This system is capable of reducing the air temperature from 180° F to as low as 50° F. The cooling system is connected to a high pressure breathing source, such as a filtration panel, cascade system or compressor, not to exceed 150 psi, through a 5′ long inlet supply airline using a heavy duty Hansen coupler. Air flowing through the FDA Grade PVC temperature cooling coil inside the 70 quart cooler reduces the air temperature by having ice poured onto and around the coil. Coils are separated to allow ice to surround hose. The outlet air is filtered at the end of the coil line by a 5 micron particulate air filter, which removes condensation that may build up in the hose. The pressure regulator includes a pressure gauge and adjustable knob with locking ring. Single outlet coupler can adapt to 3-Worker Manifold. Half Mask Supplied Air Systems from Allegro Safety

The complete kit offers a portable, lightweight air source for one, two or three workers. They are offered with one, two or three comfortable half mask supplied air respirators, a ¼ hp ambient air pump, ¾ hp pump or 1 ½ hp pump and 50 or 100 feet of breathing hose. This comfortable half mask offers low pressure continuous flow protection with the same unique over the shoulder hose and belt as the full face mask. It’s durable and easy to use and clean. The low profile design allows it to fit under welding shields.

The mask seal is durable silicone rubber maintains shape while in storage, hypoallergenic and chemical/ozone resistant and comfortable even in extreme heat and cold environments.

The down tube and belt assembly have a 90° elbow allows it to be directed over the shoulder and out of the way and is made of a corrugated material for flexibility.

The lens is replaceable polycarbonate and offers a wider, distortion free viewing area with an anti-fog anti-scratch coating. The removable hairnet means greater comfort and fits easily under a hardhat. The low pressure unit includes and OBAC quick connect fitting while the high pressure includes a large diameter contoured exhalation valve. The down tube & belt assembly feature a 90° elbow that allows it to be directed over the shoulder and out of the way, and is corrugated flexible and lightweight material for greater comfort and less fatigue. Tyvek Supplied Air Systems from Allegro Safety

In areas such as painting or asbestos abatement, where levels of contamination are low, these complete SAR systems offer a portable air source for one or two workers. Especially comfortable for bearded workers, the hood style SAR is lightweight and loose fitting, to fit comfortably over the head. A large clear window offers a wide view and complete protection in dirty environments such as spray painting or asbestos abatement. The convenient disposable design is perfect where respirator cleaning or decontamination if difficult. They include disposable, lightweight, loose fitting DuPont Tyvek hoods, a ¾ hp pump or 1 ½ hp pump and 50 or 100 foot of breathing air hose. NIOSH approval number TC-19C-331.

The lens is a clear 15 mil co-polyester (PETG) with a distortion free panoramic view 6″ x 12″. The suspension is a disposable one piece assembly and includes an absorbent foam headband. The adjustable Velcro closure head harness secures hood in place.

Allegro’s Air Filtration Panels convert shop air used for pneumatic tools and equipment to clean breathable air. They provide from 1 to 8 airline respirators a portable source of up to 15, 30, 60 or 100 CFM of breathable air from 5-125 psig. The 3 stage filtration system purifies compressed air removing water, oil and particulate contaminates. An optional carbon monoxide monitor, which can be operated in AC or DC mode, activates an audible alarm when the concentration of CO exceeds 10 ppm (set for 5 ppm in Canada).

The pressure regulator includes a pressure gauge and adjustment knob with locking ring. An adjustable pressure relief valve protects the CO monitor and respirators in the event of regulator failure. The Carry Air AC/DC powered unit is housed in a rugged Pelican case for portability and protection. It includes a support stand for stability and up right operation. An AC/DC powered Wall-mount unit is also available. Available with and without CO monitors. All models meet NIOSH requirements for point of attachment.

Remote CO Alarm for Carry-Air or Wall-Air Filtration Panels

The Remote CO Alarm System is attached to any air source or filter panel and alerts workers using supplied air respirators when the level of carbon monoxide has exceeded 10 ppm. This remote alarm system can be connected up to the filtration panel by means of a 50′ cable that plugs into the filtration panel. This allows the user to keep the CO Alarm closer to their working areas assuring them of being warned if the CO levels exceed 10 ppm. The alarm consists of both a loud 90 dB alarm and a highly visible red strobe light. Also available with a strobe.

PortaSens III Gas Leak Detector from Analytical Technology
The ATI PortaSens II has been updated to the PortaSens III portable gas leak detector. The new PortaSens III is a rugged hand held device used to detect leaks of toxic or otherwise dangerous gas and also to detect oxygen displacement. The D16 quickly adapts to measure different gases by inserting the appropriate gas sensor module which retains all of the calibration and configuration settings for the target gas. An internal pump with a flexible wand is included for point sampling around suspect pipe fittings and confined spaces. Readings and settings are presented on a backlighted, resistive touch, color graphics LCD with a beeper to notify you of alarms and other events. Readings are recorded in .csv files (ASCII text, comma-separated values) and transferred to a PC using the supplied USB cable. No external application is required. The files may be opened with any text editor or directly by applications like Microsoft Excel. Power is provided from a rechargeable NiMH D-cell battery. The battery should be removed and charged in an external charger after each use. The battery is not used or even required when the device is connected to a USB port. The inlet port, located on the manifold lid, is fitted with a quick disconnect fitting to connect the flexible want. The wand can be used for probing closely around pipes and fittings and for sampled confined spaces without entering. The wand is lined with Teflon and is inert to nearly all vapors and gases. Flexible tubing may be connected to the inlet port to sample high gas concentration or those beyond the reach of the wand. Fluorocarbon based tubing is strongly recommended for measuring low concentrations of reactive gases. Other materials may be used for high range measurements where the adsorption of gas by the tubing is negligible or where you are probing or significant leaks. The internal walls of the wand and any inlet tubing must be kept dry. Water on the walls may absorb soluble gases and decrease the gas readings, presenting an unsafe condition. If the inside of the wand or tubing gets wet, dry dry air through it for 10-15 minutes.

Series D12-IR Combustible, Carbon Dioxide or Nitrous Oxide Gas Transmitter

ATI’s Series D12 gas transmitter product line has been expanded. Now available in this versatile package is an LEL transmitter utilizing an Infrared sensor that resists the poisoning problems inherent in catalytic bead sensors. The D12-IR utilizes a compact IR sensor in a corrosion resistant housing with sintered flame arrestor to meet hazardous area classification requirements and is suitable for most plant environments.

The D12-IR gas transmitter eliminates the poisoning problems inherent in catalytic bead sensors. While catalytic LEL sensors offer reliable service, the presence of silicon vapors, hydrogen sulfide and halogenated hydrocarbons can quickly degrade sensor performance. Infrared sensing technology is not susceptible to these potential interferants which means greater measurement stability and longer sensor life.

The D12-IR transmitter can also be configured with Infrared sensor for carbon dioxide (CO2) or nitrous oxide (N20) detection. All sensor versions can operate in diffusion mode for ambient air or with a flow cell for pumped samples.

The D12-IR is available in four configurations:

  •  For measurement and data transmission to remote display and alarm equipment, the D12-IR operates in 3 wire mode. Integral LCD indicates gas concentration as well as alarm conditions
  • Transmitter with HART for plants operating with HART protocol communications systems, the D12-IR can be supplied with this option. The HART output supports both 4-20 mA and constant current mode of operation.
  • Transmitter with integral relays for systems requiring local alarm functions or systems where discrete outputs are desired, the D12-IR can provide 3 relay outputs. Relays are assignable to any alarm setpoint or fault condition and are fully programmable for setpoint, hysteresis and time delay.
  • When RS-485 communication is desirable, D12-IR transmitters with alarm relays can be supplied with a Modbus interface. software supports up to 247 unique addresses for large system use.

Features

  •  Infrared sensing element is protected inside a stainless steel assembly with a sintered stainless steel flame arrestor.
  • Because the IR sensor is always in an active state, the transmitter continuously monitors critical sensor functions and indicates any sensor problems both on the display and through the analog output.
  • D12-IR transmitters can be factory calibrated for volumetric methane measurements in special applications. Ranges from 0-10%, to 0-100% by volume are available. A separate sensor is also available for high percent level measurements of heavier hydrocarbons such a butane and propane.
  • Each time a sensor is zeroed or spanned the data is stored in memory. Calibration history can be recalled and sensor condition reviewed by operating personnel when necessary.
  • Optional relays outputs can be used for local alarm functions. All relays are programmable for setpoint, hysteresis, on-delay, off-delay and other variables. Even a remote reset feature is provided for in the transmitter design.
  • Transmitter analog output can be set to user definable values. This provides for complete loop testing without the need to apply gas to the sensor
  • Alarm relays may be activated on command to allow testing of local alarm devices. Any combination of relays may be activated based on operator selection. Output and alarms may also be inhibited for maintenance and calibration.
  •  The transmitter is available with either HART or MODBUS protocol. The HART protocol supports the HART Universal and Common Practice Commands at 1200 baud using the Bell 202 FSK modem standard. The MODBUS protocol supports 9600 baud access to concentration and status information and supports alarm setup and many other functions on either RS485 or RS232 (software selectable). Comes with a register/tag database on a 3 1/2″ diskette.
  • Gas concentrations are displayed in large, easy to read numbers. The display also provides alarm indication and complete menus for setting up operating parameters. A back light is available.
  •  Measured gas values are stored at user definable intervals and can be recalled when needed on the LCD display. Data can be downloaded using an MODBUS interface.
  • Each time a sensor is zeroed or calibrated, the data is stored in memory. Calibration history can be recalled and sensor condition reviewed by operating personnel whenever necessary.
  • Operating functions such as calibration, alarm setup, alarm reset, data view and setup options are all available using a magnetic tool. It is never necessary to open the enclosure when making adjustments.
  •  Program settings stored in the transmitter may be protected by a user selectable password. Operators may still review all function, but changes may only be made by authorized personnel.
  • Transmitter analog output can be set to user definable values and relay outputs can be set to specific states for complete simulation of detection system operation. Output and alarms may also be inhibited for maintenance and calibration.
  • The D12 electronic assembly plus easily into a terminal board in the base of the enclosure. Transmitters can be easily removed for wiring and quickly replaced in the event of a fault condition.
  • Transmitters are designed for operation in hazardous areas. The cast aluminum housing for the D12 transmitter is rated for Class 1, Division 1 Group B, C, D locations and is UL, FM and CSA certified.

Series F12 Digital Gas Detection Transmitter from ATI

The Series F12 Gas Transmitter is an Intrinsically Safe (IS) version of ATI’s explosion proof D12 transmitter. In its standard form, it is designed for detection of a variety of toxic gases in hazardous area applications requiring IS devices. In addition, it is also well suited for all general purpose applications where toxic gas measurement is required. For IS installations, this transmitter is also available with a Hart communication option.

F12 Transmitter use ATI’s standard smart sensors for maximum flexibility. Sensors are easily exchanged and contain all calibration constants in sensor memory, eliminating the need for field calibration of transmitters. Sensors may be calibrated on the bench and then simply plugged into the transmitter. Calibration data is read into the transmitter automatically and no other adjustments are normally required. For general purpose gas detection applications, the F12 transmitter is also available in Non-IS versions. One version provides for easy interface to RS-485 networks using a standard MODBUS communication protocol. A second version provides a complete AC powered instrument with 3 alarm relays (SPST) available for external alarming.

  • The IS version of the transmitter is available with Hart communications. The Hart protocol supports the Hart Universal and Common Practice Commands at 1200 baud using the Bell 202 FSK modem standard. The non-IS versions of the transmitter are available with MODBUS communications. The MODBUS protocol supports 9600 baud access to concentration and status information and supports alarm setup and many other functions.
  • Gas concentrations are displayed in large, easy to read numbers. The display also provides alarm indication and complete menus for setting up operating parameters.
  •  Measured gas values are stored at user designable intervals and can be recalled when needed on the LCD display. Data can be downloaded using a Hart or MODBUS interface.
  • Each time a sensor is zeroed or calibrated, the data is stored in memory. Calibration history can be recalled and sensor condition reviewed by operating personnel whenever necessary.
  • Operating functions such as calibration, alarm setup, alarm reset, data view and setup options are all available using sealed front panel switches on the face of the Nema 4X transmitter enclosure.
  • For use in applications where condensation is a problem, this heater option keeps the sensor above the whew point to eliminate loss of sensitivity due to moisture blockage on the sensor face.
  • Transmitter analog output can be set to user definable values and relay outputs can be set to specific states for complete simulation of detection system operation. Output and alarms may also be inhibited for maintenance and calibration.

A14/11 Economy Modular Gas Detection System from Analytical Technology
GasSens is a flexible component system providing a variety of options to meet individual gas detection and alarm requirements. Economical and low maintenance, this system is your best choice for reliable leak detection. GasSens detection systems consist of individual modules that can be located where required. Sensor/transmitters located in the area where gas leakage or buildup might occur, provide the basic measurement for the system. Sensor transmitters are available in either NEMA 4X or explosion-proof versions and can be supplied with ATI’s exclusive Auto-Test automatic sensor testing system. Receiver modules provide the electronic brains for the detection and alarm system. Each compact module includes a digital display of gas concentration, isolated analog output, and 4 relay outputs. Receivers may be located up to 1,000 feet from sensor/transmitters for remote indication or can provide local control functions such as valve shut off while transmitting a 4-20 mA signal to remote displays or dataloggers. Receiver modules provide an interface between the detection system and external alarming and data logging requirements. One module is used with each sensor/transmitter.

Features

  • The LED display Indicates gas concentration directly in ppm, ppb or %. The display may be operated in high intensity mode for outdoor use or in normal mode for indoor application
  • An isolated 4-20 mA output is standard. The output will drive loads up to 1,000 ohms for use in recording, data logging or computer input.
  • Two alarm setpoints are factory adjusted to standard values but may be set to any value from 5% to 100% of range. Front panel LED’s marked Warning and Alarm indicate the status of each alarm setpoint. A standard alarm time delay of 2 seconds or a longer delay of 10 seconds may be selected. In addition, alarms may be switch programmed to activate either above or below the setpoint.
  • Three alarm output relays are SPDT with unpowered contacts for use in activating external signaling devices, control elements or for input to telemetry or annunciator systems. Each relay may be assigned to either alarm setpoint for application flexibility. Relays are factory set to energize on alarm, but may be switch programmed for fail safe operation. Relays may be also set either latching or non-latching operation.
  • Trouble alarm & relay should the sensor/transmitter input be lost, a trouble light (LED) on the front panel will flash and an associated relay will activate. For those systems equipped with the Sensor Auto-Test feature, this alarm will also activate if the sensor does not respond to the automated gas test.
  •  A single front panel switch marked A/R serves a number of functions. When an alarm occurs, the switch will silence an audible horn wired to the module and will change the alarm lights from flash to steady on. After the alarm condition has cleared, the switch will also activate an electronic module test, inhibit alarm contacts and activate the sensor Auto-Test.
  • Terminals are provided for connection of a remote reset switch so that alarms can be acknowledged form a remote location or through a telemetry system.
  • External electrical connections are made to plug in terminal blocks. Should module service ever be needed, modules can be replaced in minutes.
GasSens gas detection systems employ electrochemical sensors developed and manufactured by ATI. Expertise in electrochemistry and sensor design provide the foundation for leak detection systems that perform continuously with minimal maintenance. Sensors are rated for ambient temperature from -25 to 50ºC, allowing both indoor and outdoor applications. Excellent zero stability and high sensitivity and selectivity combine to make ATI sensors the best available. Gas sensors are closely coupled to a digital transmitter for excellent noise immunity and the ability to transmit long distances using unshielded cable. The transmitter is powered from the receiver module and uses a unique current pulse position technique to send information to the receiver over a two wire connection. The receiver connection in not polarity sensitive, virtually eliminating the possibility of incorrect transmitter wiring. Sensor/transmitters can be located up to 1,000 feet from receiver modules. Sensor/transmitters are housed in shielded NEMA 4X enclosures for use in almost any industrial environment and are designed to meet intrinsic safety standards. An explosion proof version is available.

Auto-Test – Savings & Safety

A major expense in gas detection systems is the cost of regular testing to ensure that sensors are responding. This requires a technician to inspect sensors weekly and apply a small amount of gas manually to check response. ATI has developed a unique system to reduce this maintenance requirement. Available on most ATI digital sensor/transmitters is an option called “Auto-Test.” This option consists of an electrochemical gas generator closely coupled to the sensor. Every 24 hours, the receiver automatically activates the generator, producing a small amount of gas that diffuses into the sensor, just as it would if a gas leak occurred. The microcomputer is the receiver analyzes the output of the transmitter to determine that the sensor is responding normally. When proper sensor response is detected, the generator is turned off and the system goes back to normal operation. If no sensor response is detected, the TROUBLE light on the receiver will flash and the trouble relay will activate. During testing, alarm relays are inhibited so that external alarms are not activated. The Auto-Test feature ensures that each sensor is regularly tested with gas. Premature sensor failure or blockage of the sensor membrane is quickly detected. In addition, self-testing will alert maintenance personnel when a sensor has reached the end of its useful life. Since sensors normally last anywhere from 12 months to over 3 years, this feature allows users to determine when sensor replacement is needed.

Power Supply Module

A compact universal power supply in a DIN rail module similar to the receiver was developed. The power supply will accept any AC or DC input from 85 to 225 volts, without adjustment. Other options include a battery back up system and horn and strobe light options.

Dri-Gas Gas Sampling System

Monitoring combustible or toxic gases in areas with condensing levels of moisture often results in premature sensor failure. Water condensing on sensor surfaces or within the sensor flame arrestor can be difficult to avoid due to widely variable ambient conditions. ATI has developed a solution to this problem with a gas sampling system that also conditions the sample by removing water vapor. The Dri-Gas sampling system draws gas samples from high humidity vent stacks, ducts, wet wells or other humid locations. The system removes water vapor from the gas sample by contact with a cold plate that condenses moisture and delivers a dehumidified gas sample suitable for toxic and combustible gas monitoring equipment. Excess condensate is pumped to a drain fitting on the bottom of the enclosure and can be collected if necessary.

Dri-Gas systems contain a diaphragm sampling pump with brushless DC motor providing operational life in excess of 10,000 hours. The pump is capable of pulling inlet line vacuum of up to 10″ Hg. making it suitable for sampling duct systems with negative pressures. The outlet of the pump is controlled by an adjustable rotameter allowing system sample flow to be set to the normal ate of 500 cc/min. A differential pressure switch across the pump provides an alarm should the inlet line or outlet lines become blocked. An alarm lamp on the door provides local alarm indication and a SPDT alarm contact is available for remote alarm indication.

An optional inlet filter assembly is available for applications where gas streams may contain dust or debris that might cause problems in the air pump. A replaceable filter element on the end of the inlet assembly can be easily changed when necessary.

A plugged inlet filter will be indicated by a fault indication. A package of filter elements are supplied with the inlet assembly.

Installation

The gas sampling system is suitable for either indoor or outdoor installation, but outdoor installations must be protected from wind driven rain. It is also best to protect it from direct sunlight to minimize solar heating or the interior. Outlet tubing containing the dried air sample should be connected directly to the gas sensor flowcells and distances should be kept as short as possible. Teflon lined PVC sample inlet and outlet tubing is recommended to minimize loss of reactive gases.

The diagram below shows a typical installation with the output to an F12 transmitter. This is an example only. The dried gas sample can be fed to a variety of gas sensors including ATI’s D12, D12IT, B12, F12 or other manufacturers.

Series A24 Puffer Bump Test Gas Generator from ATI

Many safety programs require response testing of the portable detectors used for personal monitoring, prior to use. Fixed detectors must also be tested to ensure they remain sensitive to the target gas.

Regulator “puff tests” can provide a quick check of sensor response. These involve briefly exposing the gas sensors to a puff of air containing a small amount of the target gas. This is often done quite effectively using cylinder gas from calibration cylinders. However, the high cost of the cylinder gas can make this test fairly expensive. What’s more, compressed gas cylinder can be difficult to transport, creating possible supply problems for users.

The A24 Puffer is a portable, battery operated instrument containing a gas generator and simple hand pump that provides the puff of air needed for sensor response checks.

For puff testing diffusion gas detectors, the Puffer includes a short outlet tube. Gas is ejected from the generator by pressing the bladder on the front of the unit. For testing detectors with internal sampling pumps, a plug on the unit is removed so that the sampling pump can pull air through the generator cell for delivery to the detector.

Puffers are water resistant for use in any environment and are designed to intrinsic safety standards. Generator cells provide hundreds of tests, with an LED to indicate the remaining life of the generator cell. Generator cells are easily changed and the life indicator can be reset when a new generator is installed.

The Honeywell BW Ultra is a portable 5 gas detector designed specifically for sampling and monitoring confined spaces, before and after entry. Honeywell BW Ultra offers unmatched sensor technology, visibility on gas readings, comfort and connectivity. This makes it the most reliable and user friendly way to prevent a safety incident. When you are sampling gases in a confined space, you need to constantly watch the reading on your gas detector and the Honeywell BW Ultra makes them easy to see. The detector has a 3.2″ screen and very high resolution, so you can quickly determine the level of each gas. It stands up to harsh condition. With a very high rating of IP66/68 the Honeywell BW Ultra is protected not only from dust but also from water ingress (high pressure spray or submersion up to 3.9′). It operates up to three years maintenance-free. IntelliDoX Docking Station Automated Management System
The IntelliDox Calibration Station combines smart docking modules and device management software to provide automated instrument management for compatible detectors, helping you drive productivity, reliability and efficiency. IntelliDoX is easy to install, taking under 2 minutes from setup of a five module dock to the bump of your first instrument. Each module has its own operating system, LCD screen and internal pump allowing you to perform more than one operation at the same time. Whether you want to bump three detectors or calibrate others – you can get more done in less time. BW Clip Real Time Gas Detector for H2S, CO, O2 and SO2
The BW Clip Real Time (RT) single gas detector by Honeywell is part of Honeywell Clip maintenance free family of single gas detectors. It provides the same great functionality as the BW Clip, plus the addition of a real time gas level display and the ability to calibrate the device; providing more solutions to meet your gas detection needs. Gases detected includes Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) , Carbon Monoxide (CO), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Oxygen (O2) Clip Real Time provides real time readings of atmosphere gas concentration levels. It can be calibrated and is compatible with the MicroDock II and IntelliDoX instrument management system. When using IntelliDoX, you can bump test each detector in fewer than 10 seconds and change the factory alarm setpoints to meet your requirements.
