The standard power supply and communications capabilities include three onboard relays, 0-22 mA analog output and Modbus/TCP Ethernet digital outputs. Plus, the Midas includes the innovative Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol – a single Ethernet connection for all power, control and communication requirements. Thanks to the Midas architecture, cost-effective integration with PLC and Fieldbus systems is greatly simplified. Offered as an option, the Midas Pyrolyzer allows for the detection of NF3 and other CxFy gases. Cost of ownership is low, as the Pyrolyzer has a replaceable heater assembly with a lifespan of greater than two years. Even more, thanks to the proprietary catalyst to improve efficiency in gas conversion, the Pyrolyzer delivers automatic flow control, temperature control and fast and accurate performance. Additionally, the Pyrolyzer can run from a Midas Gas Det3ector that’s powered by either PoE or 24 VDC. Transmitters are powered by 24VDC or via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Midas provides 0-22 mA analog and Modbus/TCP Ethernet as standard outputs. Integral relays for A1, A2 and fault are included and may be configured normally open or normally closed, latching or non-latching. Transmitters include manual, quick start guide and 1 gland fitting for power in and relays out, 1/4″ x 1/8″ sample inlet tubing (10′), 1/4″ x 3/16″ exhaust tubing (10′) and a sample line tubing duct adapter. Generation 2 features a multi-colored backlight to indicate status. Higher Temperature Pyrolyzer Midas transmitters include a snap on Pyrolyzer module that operates with any Midas extractive transmitter. Units are powered via direct connection to transmitter unit. Pyrolyzer includes Pyrolyzer Quick Start Guide and installation screws. Optional LonWorks interface module that mounts to and connects with any single, universal Midas transmitter with or without Pyrolyzer to provide bi-directional LonWorks connectivity; remote reset and remote control of onboard relays. Unit is 24 VDC powered and provides power and communications directly to the attached Midas transmitter using special ethernet cross over cable (supplied). Includes Quick Start Guide and mounting bracket to the Midas transmitter, rear panel installation screws are not supplied.
