PortaSens III Gas Leak Detector from Analytical Technology
The ATI PortaSens II has been updated to the PortaSens III portable gas leak detector. The new PortaSens III is a rugged hand held device used to detect leaks of toxic or otherwise dangerous gas and also to detect oxygen displacement. The D16 quickly adapts to measure different gases by inserting the appropriate gas sensor module which retains all of the calibration and configuration settings for the target gas. An internal pump with a flexible wand is included for point sampling around suspect pipe fittings and confined spaces. Readings and settings are presented on a backlighted, resistive touch, color graphics LCD with a beeper to notify you of alarms and other events. Readings are recorded in .csv files (ASCII text, comma-separated values) and transferred to a PC using the supplied USB cable. No external application is required. The files may be opened with any text editor or directly by applications like Microsoft Excel. Power is provided from a rechargeable NiMH D-cell battery. The battery should be removed and charged in an external charger after each use. The battery is not used or even required when the device is connected to a USB port. The inlet port, located on the manifold lid, is fitted with a quick disconnect fitting to connect the flexible want. The wand can be used for probing closely around pipes and fittings and for sampled confined spaces without entering. The wand is lined with Teflon and is inert to nearly all vapors and gases. Flexible tubing may be connected to the inlet port to sample high gas concentration or those beyond the reach of the wand. Fluorocarbon based tubing is strongly recommended for measuring low concentrations of reactive gases. Other materials may be used for high range measurements where the adsorption of gas by the tubing is negligible or where you are probing or significant leaks. The internal walls of the wand and any inlet tubing must be kept dry. Water on the walls may absorb soluble gases and decrease the gas readings, presenting an unsafe condition. If the inside of the wand or tubing gets wet, dry dry air through it for 10-15 minutes.

Ordering Information

The PortaSens III is supplied in a padded carrying case for easy storage and transport. Space is provided for an extra battery plus up to two sensor keepers, which means up to 8 extra sensors ready for immediate use. Each PortaSens III includes the detector, spare filters, 10″ Teflon lined sampling wand, flowmeter, USB cable, spare NIMH “D” cell battery, sensor keeper and calibration”T” fitting. The basic PortaSens III detector does not include sensor modules. Because the PortaSens III is designed to accept any gas sensor, you can select one or more sensor modules. The BW Clip single gas detector is your everyday companion for hazardous environments. The Clip is now available with real time readings of atmospheric gas concentration levels. The Honeywell BW Solo Single Gas Detector has everything you expect plus additional features to make your compliance easier and more cost-effective than ever. All with a reliable life span, one button operation and a small, lightweight profile. No need to take apart the Solo to replace components. To change out the sensor filters, just pop off a door on the front of the detector, no screwdriver required. Sensor and battery replacement are also easy. Numerous sensors are available including: hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, oxygen, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen, ammonia, chlorine, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen cyanide, ozone, ethylene oxide, phosphine, nitrogen oxide and chlorine dioxide. The Solo features the new 1-Series that delivers fast response, reliable performance and long life, even in extreme environments. The 1-Series sensor has a compact square design, with one third the height of the industry standard sensor. That means a lighter, slimmer detector plus faster sensor response time, because the gas diffuses into it more quickly. No need to worry about sensors wearing out quickly, adding cost and downtime. Instead the 1-series sensors lasts up to 5 years, depending on gas exposure, along with a 3 year warranty. Despite the small size, these sensors delivery consistently accurate readings, standing up to temperature from -40°C to 60°C plus transient pressure, humidity and other environmental extremes. To optimize safety, compliance and productivity, use Honeywell BW Solo with IntelliDoX docking stations and SafetySuite Software. Simply place the detector in the dock and it automatically transfer the test results and performs the actions you choose. You can to a bump test, change set points, enable calibration and /or bump reminders, update firmware and more. The Solo is easy to operate even if you are wearing gloves. using this button you can easily configure set points, latching alarms and other parameters. Also access measurements for short term exposure limit (STEL), time weighted average (TWA) and the highest concentration of gas detected in the past 24 hours. Want to quickly determine whether a detector is in compliance? Just activate Honeywell’s patented IntelliFlash. This flashing green light – visible from a distance means the detectors has been bump tested and is monitoring correctly. When you pair the Honeywell BW Solo with a smart phone, you can use the Device Configurator app to set up the detector, choose alarm set points and more – all from up to 6 meters away using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Want to check bump and calibration data? Use the app to see the reading from the calibration along with who performed it, when and with what gas and email a certificate to stakeholders. Don’t have the IntelliDoX docking station? With the wireless version of Honeywell BW Solo, use BLE to share the detector’s gas data with the desktop software – no dock required.

The Draeger X-am 5100 gas detector guarantees that you use the safest methods possible for handling Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen Chloride, Hydrogen Peroxide or Hydrazine – thanks to proven Draeger sensor technology and a device design which is customized to reactive gases. The Draeger X-am 5100 is a small lightweight single gas monitor which is specifically designed for the requirements of personal monitoring. It ensures users a high level of comfort and convenience. The monitor can be used intuitively thanks to the practical two button control panel and straightforward menu guidance system. DragerSensors stand for innovative technology at the highest level. The Draeger XS sensors for HF/HCl, H2O2 and N2H4 are proven high performance sensors with years of successful use in the market place. The special design of the monitor with direct gas entry guarantees fast sensor response and precise measurement results and precise measurement results by preventing gas adsorption on the monitor housing. The monitor has an ingress protection rating against dust and water of IP54. The housing is resistant to impacts, vibration and electromagnetic radiation for years of reliable use. The Draeger X-am 5100 can be used with the standard NiMH rechargeable battery, optional high capacity NiMH or alkaline battery pack (2 AA batteries required). In addition, it can be recharged while still inside the instrument. Charging can take place in the workshop or in a vehicle, to suit your needs. A datalogger is standard equipment in the Draeger X-am 5100. The datalogger has a recording interval of 1 value per minute for a duration of over 1,000 hours. The data can be transmitted via infrared interface to a PC. Four alarm indicators are standard with every model of the Draeger X-am 5100. What is a Chemcassette™?

The Chemcassette is the colorimetric based sensor used by your SPM Flex gas monitoring systems to detect and measure toxic gases. It consists of a special substrate that been coated with proprietary chemical formulations that produce a color reaction in dry form when exposed to a specific gas or family of gases. Chemcassettes are extremely sensitive and specific to the gas or gases they are designed to detect. As a result, they are a fast, accurate, virtually interference free detection method. Each step of the Chemcassette production process is carefully controlled to assure that the Chemcassette will perform as intended in your Flex gas detector. Each and every Chemcassette batch is dynamically tested according to NIOSH methodologies with a gas it is designed to detect and the results are carefully documented. Our ISO 9001 quality control standards are strict enough to meet rigorous US Nuclear Regulatory Commission audit requirements. Each step in the manufacturing and testing process is fully documented and traceable to NIST standards through the serial number assigned to each Chemcassette.

MicroCO Breath CO Monitor
With the MicroCO Breath CO Monitor, firefighters and emergency providers can diagnose carbon monoxide poisoning easily, quickly and inexpensively right on the scene thus preventing possible long term cardiac and/or neurological damage. Studies have determined that breath carbon monoxide detectors such as the MicroCO can provides fast, inexpensive, and noninvasive estimates of the approximate concentration of blood COHb, facilitating diagnosis and treatment of CO poisoning. The MicroCO is the gold standard in CO breath testing and is the most advanced system currently available today. Some of its many features include fast response time, 1 ppm resolution, immediate display of CO levels in ppm and percent carboxyhemoglobin (%COHb) and color light indicators for a visual presentation of the results. Measurements are easily obtained from a single exhalation and are aided by an auto-zero function at turn on, combined with a breath hold countdown timer. These results are then instantly display on the large, easy to read LCD and are visually represented by the appropriate color light indicator. Operating from a single 9 volt battery, the MicroCO combines accuracy and simplicity making it the preferred choice for all types of health professionals. The MicroCO is small, lightweight and is molded from high impact ABS plastic for durability. In order to keep your carbon monoxide monitor in proper working condition and always have reproducible results at your disposal, Micro Direct recommends calibration every six months. Calibration can be easily and safely carried out by the end user.

Nitrous Oxide Monitor

The G200 is an advanced nitrous oxide monitor, N2O Analyzer. It uses a highly accurate non-dispersive IR cell providing superior stability and repeatability, with a measurement resolution of 1 ppm – full range. The range of the G200 is 0-1,000ppm N2O. The G200 N2O analyzer is designed to safety check background and breathing zone levels of N2O (0-1,000ppm).

The ToxiRae Pro Wireless LEL Gas Detector from Rae Systems is the world’s first wireless personal combustible gas detector. It takes worker protection to the next level by providing safety professionals wireless access to real time instrument readings and alarm status (including man-down alarm) from any location for better visibility and faster response. The ToxiRae Pro LEL promptly detects and accurately monitors explosives and combustibles in concentrations from 0 to 100% of the lower explosive limit (LEL). With an onboard library of 34 correction factors, the ToxiRae Pro LEL can be programmed to automatically read % LEL of the specified compound. Now AutoRae 2 compatible. The Sensit P100 Single Gas Monitor is an exceptionally rugged personal gas monitor. It raises the bar in durability. The housing is constructed of durable ABS plastic and shock absorbing material to protect the instrument from the rigors of field use. The instrument is sealed to maintain the integrity of the IP65 rating. Sensit P100 offers a very simple two button operation for power, zeroing and performing calibration. The Protégé SG is a reusable single gas monitor that can be configured to detect 13 gases which provides maximum flexibility to deal with unknown gas hazards. With interchangeable smart sensors, including both low power IR and electrochemical options, the Protégé SG offers maximum versatility in a reusable solution. The plug and play swappable smart sensors allow a single monitor to detect several different toxic and combustible gases, supporting multiple applications. users can change sensors on the go and the monitor will automatically recognize the sensor type and update the gas label on the display. The versatility of the SG allows users to efficiently mange their time. No programming i s required when switching sensors. With one button activation, adjustable alarm settings and an easy to read, multi language display, the Protégé SG is intuitive and user friendly. Turn it on, and the monitor does the rest. With data logging of up to 5,000 events and a custom LCD display capable of displaying real time gas readings, the Protégé SG is packed with features and functionality, but requires minimal training. The 3M Scott Protégé ZM Single Gas Monitor is an easy-to-use, zero-maintenance gas detection solution that delivers high performance in a small package. It is available in oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide single gas models. This single gas monitor is incredibly reliable, giving industrial workers and first responders the confidence to focus on the task at hand, not on their equipment. With one button activation, adjustable alarm settings and an easy to read display the Protégé ZM is simple to use. Just turn it on for the first time, and the monitor does the rest. Using the default settings from the factory there is no need to set up or program the monitor. Once activated, the Protégé ZM monitor does not require charging or calibration so these monitors can be deployed in the field 24 hours a day, every day for two years, maintenance and hassle free. The H2S and CO models include a hibernate feature which allows you to extend your battery life up to one additional year. UNI 321 3, 2, or 1 year Maintenance Free Single Gas Detector
The UNI 321 is a disposable or maintenance free version of the UNI single gas detector. It detects hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide or oxygen in a selection of models with operating lives of 12 months, 24 months or 36 months. The detectors have large LCDs providing maximum readability in the field. Six bright LEDs allow for quick alarm notification. Constructed of strong and durable material, the UNI 321 is designed to be comfortable, yet drop resistant. The UNI detectors can easily be bump tested and calibrated using the CaliCase System.

Single Gas Detector The UNI MP100 offers a simple, personal protection for a wide array of toxic gas and oxygen measurement applications.
