The Sundstrom Respirator Kit for Wildfires includes one silicone half mask, one P100 particulate filter, ten pre-filters, pre-filter holder, spark arrester and enclosed in a storage box. The Sundstrom’s P100 filter eliminates 99997% of all types of particles. NIOSH only requires 99.97% efficiency. That means the P100 filters is 10X more effective, providing 10X better protection. The high efficient P100 together with a pre-filter and spark arrester protects against all types of particles, sparks and ash particulates.
The flexible silicone mask fits great. The unique design significantly cuts inhalation and exhalation resistance making the mask twice as easy to breathe through. This increases comfort and lengthens use time. The half mask respirator and P100 filter allows breathing rates of more than 250 liters per minute as compared to most competitive products which generally only allow 95 LPM. This means the Sundstrom user can handle much heavier work loads.
The SR100 is an easy to maintain, clean and disinfect reusable mask. The distinct pre-filter system together with spark arrester prevents premature clogging o the particulate filter and protects the P100 against sparks and ash particulates. It extends the P100 filter life up to 5 times longer than competitive products.
