- No Interferences From: methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, ethane up to 10 vol.% (n=1) or 1 vol.% (n=10); higher concentrations discolor the whole indication layer, a sharp stain edge is not formed, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide up to 1 vol.% (n=1) or 1000 ppm (n=10)
- Interferences: Carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulfide and many other oxidizable gases and vapors will give an indication. The sensitivity varies. Saturated hydrocarbons are indicated. Referring to calibration of detector tube the sensitivity of indication will be higher for: propane, butanes, and pentanes. The sensitivity will be lower for: octanes and their higher homologues.
