The Type 1 Sound Meter meets IEC61672-1:2013 Class 1 and ANSI S1.4:2014 Type 1 specifications for sound measurement. The range is 30-130 dB in both the A and C decibel frequency weighting scales with 0.1 dB resolution and an accuracy of ±0.7 dB dB. It features fast or slow time weightings, peak hold and AC output. A calibration adjustment allows the user to quickly calibrate the meter’s internal electronics. This unit can also be acoustically calibrated in compliance with OSHA, using the acoustical calibrator. CE approved. Each unit includes a windscreen, calibration tool, instructions and 2 9V batteries, all contained in a hard shell carrying case. 10.5″ x 3.5″ x 1.5″, 1 pound, NIST traceable certificate of calibration is available.
