Protege SG Single Gas Monitor

The Protege SG is a reusable single gas monitor that can be configured to detect 13 gases which provides maximum flexibility to deal with unknown gas hazards. With interchangeable smart sensors, including both low power IR and electrochemical options, the Protégé SG offers maximum versatility in a reusable solution.

The plug and play swappable smart sensors allow a single monitor to detect several different toxic and combustible gases, supporting multiple applications. users can change sensors on the go and the monitor will automatically recognize the sensor type and update the gas label on the display. The versatility of the SG allows users to efficiently mange their time. No programming i s required when switching sensors.

With one button activation, adjustable alarm settings and an easy to read, multi language display, the Protégé SG is intuitive and user friendly. Turn it on, and the monitor does the rest. With data logging of up to 5,000 events and a custom LCD display capable of displaying real time gas readings, the Protégé SG is packed with features and functionality, but requires minimal training. The Protégé SG is highly versatile and allows the user to configure the monitor based on their application or specific company requirements.

The Protégé SG is available in IP66/67 ingress protection. Using a Lithium replaceable battery provides service life of 1.5 to 2 years for toxic sensors. The sturdy case can withstand the rigours of most industrial environments and is reliable in operating temperature of -20°C to +50°C. The Protégé SG performs self diagnostics at start up giving users confidence to focus on the job.

Sensor options include hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, oxygen, ozone, hydrogen cyanide, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, phosphine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, chlorine and chlorine dioxide.
