- No Interferences From: hydrogen, methane, ethane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, propane, butanes, chloromethane, dichloromethane, carbon tetrachloride, bromomethane, fluorinated methanes, fluorinated ethanes up to 5000 ppm with 2 pump strokes / 1000 ppm with 10 pump strokes
- Interferences: Easily oxidizable halogenated hydrocarbons (e.g. trichloroethylene, dichloroethylenes, perchloroethy lene), halogens (chlorine, bromine), hydrogen chloride, phosgene, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide will be indicated. The sensitivity of indication varies.
- In the presence of oxidizable gases and vapours (e.g. hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide) part of the conversion layer will be consumed. Trichloroethylene indication may be lower than actually present. High concentrations of oxidizable accompanying substances discolors conversion layer from brown to greenish. Do not use detector tube in this case.
