- No Interferences From: hydrogen, methane, ethane, propane, butanes, carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide up to 2 vol %, higher saturated hydrocarbons (e.g. hexanes, octanes), olefin hydrocarbons (e.g. ethylene) aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g. benzene) up to 1 % vol, nitric oxide, hydrogen cyanide up to 1000 ppm, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide up to 500 ppm
- Interferences: Other alkaline gases (amines, hydrazine) will be indicated. The sensitivity of indications is different, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide up to 500 ppm. Strong acidic gases (e.g. sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, chlorine, phosgene are not indicated but will shorten stain length of ammonia even when concentrations correspond to measuring range of
detector tube.
