A Rubber Extension Hose is used for remote detection of potentially harmful gases prior to entering a confined space such as a manhole or tank. The extension hose is placed between the detector tube and the sampling pump to determine the concentration of the gas.
All of Nextteq’s Extension Hoses (5, 10, and 20-meter) easily screw onto Nextteq®’s NX-1000 gas sampling pumps and safely enable efficient remote sampling of gases by non-technical personnel. No tools are required for assembly. All Nextteq® extension hoses have a narrow diameter to fit into tight spaces and are constructed of synthetic rubber for flexibility, strength, and durability.
The convenient 10-meter hose design eliminates the need for you to factor in hose line air volume when sampling. Sample results can be read directly from the detector tube; no additional calculations, charts or correction factors are required.
