- No Interferences From: Hydrogen, Methane, Ethane, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Propane, Butanes, Chloromethane, Dichloromethane, Carbon Tetrachloride, Bromomethane, Fluorinated Methanes, Fluorinated Ethanes up to 1 % vol with 1 pump stroke / 3000 ppm with 3 pump strokes
- Interferences: Easily oxidizable halogenated hydrocarbons (e.g. vinyl chloride, dichloroethylenes, perchloroethylene), halogens (chlorine, bromine), hydrogen chloride, phosgene, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide will be indicated. The sensitivity of indication varies.
- In the presence of oxidizable gases and vapors (e.g. hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide) part of the conversion layer will be consumed. Trichloroethylene indication may be lower than actually present. High concentrations of oxidizable accompanying substances discolor conversion layer from brown to greenish. Do not use detector tube in this case.
