• Interferences: Benzene will be indicated. The sensitivity of indication is higher than for toluene. Higher saturated hydrocarbons (e. g. hexanes, octanes), olefinic hydrocarbons (e. g. ethylene), hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulphide will be indicated by a slight brown or pink discoloration. The
