- No Interferences From: hydrogen, methane, ethane, propane, butanes, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, Benzene, toluene, higher saturated hydrocarbons (e. g. butanes, octanes), methanol up to 1000 ppm
- Interferences: Unsaturated hydrocarbons (e. g. butadiene) are indicated. The sensitivity of indication is different. Alkaline gases (e.g. ammonia, amines) are not indicated but will decrease stain length of acetic acid indication
