Description
This Integrating Sound Datalogger measures sound pressure level (SPL) according to A or C weighting and integrates the weighted SPL over an established length of time to calculate cumulative sound exposure (Leq). Test parameters simultaneously displayed on a large, bright, backlit display and features 0.1 dB resolution and a bar graph. Up to 64,000 data points can be stored in the meter, saved, graphed and processed on a computer though the USB interface and included software. The bidirectional USB port and software also enable control of the meter via its on-screen image. This meter can be calibrated using the Acoustical Calibrator.
Features include SPL and Leq sound level readings, fast and slow time weightings, A and C frequency weightings and over limit and under limit alarms. A single dynamic 30 to 130 dB range eliminates the need to manually select ranges and prevents data errors during range changes in auto-ranging models. The meter complies with IEC 61672:2013 Class 2 and ANSI S1.4:2014 Type 2 meter standards and also meets ANSI S1.43:1997 and ICE 61672-3:2013 for integrating Averaging Sound Level Meters.
Each meter includes a foam-lined protective carrying case, complete with windscreen, USB computer connection cable, free downloadable software, instructions, calibration tool, records output plug, and 4 AA batteries, which provide 30 hours of use. The optional extension cable enables remote measurements. An NIST Certificate of Calibration is available. 10.75″ x 3.5″ x 1.5″, 14.6 ounces.
